Our Approach

Starting up a business requires real bravery. And at the outset, every little bit of help can make a real difference. That’s where AIB comes in. Using their insight and research into the Irish business audience, they discovered that SME and start-up businesses felt they didn’t have the support needed to adopt new technologies to drive the growth of their companies.

A formidable challenge for these customers, AIB stepped in to help and designed a digital toolkit that would help their customers run their business. Better yet, they wanted to offer this service – MyBusinessToolkit – free for 3 months.

Using the campaign’s core insight that this toolkit would make running the day-to-day side of the business easier – freeing up precious time for our audience to concentrate on growing their business – our team got to work.

We decided to disrupt our audience’s social feeds with an eye-catching visual approach –  by showing real AIB customers’ businesses being lifted into the air by balloons representing the apps included in the MyBusinessToolKit package.

We photographed each business in situ – from a boutique in Dublin to a skincare specialist in Cork – and created an animated visual of it floating over the skyline of its home city. These striking visuals allowed us to float our message onto phones and desktops in an original and arresting way. To add even more value, we went out and interviewed customers who were already using the Toolkit – giving real and valuable into insight to our audience.

The Conclusion

The compelling visuals of this campaign helped us to drive award-winning results when delivered to our audience with targeted media in a strategic social-first campaign.

The honesty of the content, coupled with the eye-catching creative treatment, ensured that MyBusinessToolkit was embraced by the business community – allowing the campaign to surpass all its targets in just three months. The success of the campaign was subsequently rewarded when it won Highest Conversion Response from a Content Program at the Content Marketing Awards 2017
